ACCOMMODATION AT THE
FARM

Book now a vacation at the Farm under Penteleu! You will indulge yourself with comfortable accommodation in cosy rooms, delicious meals, slow cooked with healthy ingredients from the surroundings of Mount Penteleu and with tons of good-hearted passion. You will enjoy country life, with activities and workshops resurrecting long forgotten crafts, attractive to all ages. We are waiting for you with old fashion vinyl music records bringing to life masterpieces of old-times blues, rock and folk artists. Everything it takes to make your vacation at the Farm memorable.

We prepared for you workshops (traditional arts and crafts), specific farm activities (milking and feeding farm animals, accompanying our shepherds in taking the goat herd grazing up the mountain, gathering eggs, cleaning stables, etc), agricultural activities (trimming grass, gardening, picking fruits and vegetables, cleaning meadows, harvesting wild berries and medical plants) and many other seasonal activities.

Important notice: we only offer full-board reservation packages. For full cost of you stay, please check and add also the boarding tariff. We do not accept accommodation-only, bed-and-breakfast or half-board reservations.

We have 16 accommodation units, grouped in 9 buildings, as follows:

The tariff includes: accommodation, access to relaxation areas, indoor and outdoor play areas, daily farm activities (milking and feeding farm animals, gathering eggs, etc), access to phone landline, guided tour of the Farm, 9% VAT.

ROOM DESCRIPTIONS

We accept payment from all holiday voucher or card providers, valid in Romania

IMPORTANT NOTICE

1. Following your reservation request, we shall communicate availability and issue the invoice for the advance payment.
2. A reservation is confirmed only upon receiving the advance payment representing the equivalent of the first accommodation night within 3 working days from the reservation request.
3. Cancellation is free if made at least 10 days before the check-in date.
4. The advance payment becomes non-refundable in case the free-cancellation deadline is missed
5. The guests do not have access to the kitchen. Meals are served in our restaurant.
6. Access with food and drinks / beverages from outside the Farm is prohibited, except for guests with medical conditions that require special diets.
7. Check-in time is 15:00 (check-in day is considered with a welcoming drink and dinner). Check-out time is 12:00 (check-out day is considered with breakfast and lunch).

The Farm is opened for guests as follows:
June 15th – September 3rd: from Thursday through Sunday
September 4th – June 14: from Friday through Sunday

8. The season may vary depending on the exact period of the school summer vacation and special offers we prepare during the year (Easter, Christmas, 1st of May, etc)
9. We offer only full packages comprising accommodation and full-board meals.
10. No discounts are made in case guests decide to skip activities and/or meals.
11. Pets are not allowed due to potential issues in interacting with the farm animals.
12. The Farm location is remote and does not exist any GSM coverage. For emergencies, we have a landline phone and a satellit wi-fi connection at the reception area. Given the lack of modern communication facilities and the unreliability of the existing landline, we cannot guarantee availability of payment by credit/debit card. We advise our guests to have cash available.
13. The access at the Farm is done by crossing the river on a cable bridge specific to the area. The bridge is only accessible by foot.
14. We have a parking available to our guests on the left and right side of the road, just near the bridge. Signage directing the guests towards the reception is installed starting from the other side of the bridge.
15. The Farm offers a variety of wide-open spaces, playgrounds, beach by the river, hammocks, hey-stacks, trees, loose animals (bunnies, chicken, etc), stables with animals, etc. Parent supervision is required for all children. We do not assume responsibility for any incidents resulting from lack of parental supervision. Access to stables is only permitted accompanied by a member of the Farm staff.
