House Rules

The tariffs vary by the type of room and the number of persons in the room (more details on the reservations page). The restaurant tariffs are presented here.

The check-in opens at 16.00. The check-out must end by 11.00. We have the possibility to deposit the luggage of the checked-out guests in a special room, at no extra cost. We may accept early check-in and/or late check-out upon request and within availability restrictions.

We do not have mobile telephony coverage, only an wi-fi connection in the Reception area. For emergency situations, our guests may use our landline. Also due to the lack of a reliable phone or Internet connection we cannot always process card payments (even though we do have a POS). Please see that you have the necessary cash with you.

The Mansion is booked only in its entirety for a minimum of 8 adults (plus children) and a maximum of 12 adults (plus children).

Smoking is not allowed in any interior area. Outdoor areas are specially designated for smoking. Failure to comply will result in a fine of EUR 100 (payable in RON at the official exchange rate of the National Bank of Romania valid on the payment date).

All meals are served in the restaurant (“Carciuma”) at the ground-floor of the Farm building. Breakfast time is from 08.30-10.30, lunch from 12.30-15.00 and dinner from 19.00-21.00. For outside guests (not accommodated in our rooms), the breakfast is charged at EUR 15/adult, lunche EUR 27/adult and dinner is charged at EUR 23/adult.

The tariffs for kids are:
4-12 years old – EUR 7/breakfast, EUR 14/lunch, EUR 11/dinner
1-4 years old – EUR 3.5/breakfast, EUR 7/lunch, EUR 5/dinner

Meals are part buffet and part by order, but there is no restriction as to the quantity or mix of dishes. Food is generally prepared according to season, production of our farm and inspiration of our chef, and is all cooked in our kitchen. We make sure we have also options for our vegetarian guests.

Access to the kitchen is restricted to farm staff only. Access with food from outside the farm is not allowed (except for the guests on special diets caused by food intolerances / allergies).

Drinks and beverages are paid separately, according to the tariffs displayed at the restaurant and at the pub. Apart from the traditional drinks, such as tzuica, palinka, blueberry liqueur, sour cherry liqueur, and our table wine (white and red), we have also prepared a selection of bottled wines. In case you have a preferred wine which is not on our list, you may bring it in and we will be happy to serve it for a cork tax of EUR 4.5/bottle. For the little ones, and not only for them, we also have a selection of natural home-made beverages according to season.

Guests are kindly asked not to be late for any of the meals, as this would create a disruption of our kitchen workflow in preparing the next meal.

Access to the restaurant is only allowed in decent outfit. Please also keep conversations at a reasonable tone in order not to disturb the other guests.

Pets are not allowed for reasons related to the safety of the guests and of our staff, as well as for hygiene hazards to our dairy production.

Ecology is a paramount principle for us. Therefore, we promote a responsible attitude in this respect.

Towels and linen are changed every 3 days or upon our guests’ request.

For hygiene reasons and in order to limit the excessive use of cleaning substances, the access to the rooms and the interior children’s playroom with outside shoes is forbidden. The guests are kindly required to take off their shoes or cover them with single use protections before entering the rooms or the interior children’s playroom.

We reserve the right to deny access or to interrupt the stay of the guests repeatedly and grossly breaching the hygiene rules

We have a safe deposit box for valuable object. We do not accept liability for any objects lost or allegedly stolen within our farm.

Tips are at the discretion of every guest. A tip box is available at the Reception

We have one parking / room in our private parking lot. While the parking is enclosed by fences, we do not accept liability for theft or damages to the cars. We advise our guests to remove any valuable objects from the car and leave out of sight anything that might constitute a temptation.

Access with vehicles on the Farm’s territory outside the parking area is restricted and subject to a fine of EUR 100 (payable in RON at the National Bank of Romania exchange rate valid on the payment day)

We have animals in stables, but also freely grazing. Access to the stables is permitted only accompanied by one of our staff. We kindly invite our guests to supervise their children personally in order to ensure their safety when interacting with animals, especially with the ones that are free on our meadow (hens and chicken, ducks, geese, rabbits).

Parent supervision is also required during leisure time, at the playgrounds (both exterior and interior), the beach by the river, while using the hammocks, climbing trees, etc.

We do not have specialized personnel for supervising children and we do not accept any liability for hazards / accidents unattended children may be exposed to.

The safety of our guest always comes first. We have all the required safety precautions in case of fire. Please see the evacuation plan visibly displayed and the position of the hydrants and fire extinguishers on the hallways.

HOT TUB & SAUNA RULES

• • Shower before entering the Hot Tub or the Sauna
  • Use of oils, body lotion, or minerals is prohibited.
  • Access is permitted only in bathing suite
  • Nudity is strictly forbidden

• We will provide you with bathrobe, towel and slippers before going to the spa area. Please change your shoes for the slippers as soon as you arrive at the spa area. Access with any type of foot-ware used outdoors is strictly prohibited

CAUTION

• Pregnant women, elderly persons and persons suffering from heart diseases, diabetes or high or low blood pressure should not enter the sauna or hot tub without prior medical consultation and permission from their doctor
• Do not use the sauna or the hot tub while under the influence of alcohol, tranquilizers or other drugs that cause drowsiness or that raise or lower blood pressure
• Access of the children under 16 years old is strictly prohibited
• Children between 16-18 yo are allowed only accompanied by an adult
• Enter and exit slowly, while checking the temperature feel for suitability to your liking
• Observe reasonable time limits (that is 10-15 minutes) than leave the sauna or the hot tub and cool down before returning for another brief stay
• Long exposure may result in nausea, dizziness, or fainting
• Keep all breakable objects out of the area
